Jesus’ parables remind us that the faith we live and the kingdom we announce isn’t an intellectual idea but an experience, an experience of the creative and redemptive power of God that continues to change lives.
Prayer is the quiet place where the tiny mustard seed of faith begins to grow. In Matthew 13:31–33 and 44–52, Jesus reminds us that God’s kingdom often starts in hidden, humble ways, a whisper of grace, a small act of trust, a moment of turning toward God in the midst of an ordinary day. Prayer is the soil where these small beginnings take root. Prayer slowly transforms us from within, expanding our compassion, our courage, and our hope.
