St. Bartholomew’s Cares focuses on sharing our blessings with others.

We currently support:

OASIS-A Haven for Women and Children. OASIS, located in Paterson, NJ is a safe place where women and children in need are educated, clothed, and fed. Several of our members volunteer in a Saturday morning art program with the children.

CUMAC/ECHO (Center of United Methodist Aid to the Community/Ecumenically Concerned Helping Others). CUMAC was incorporated in 1985 as an urban mission of the United Methodist Church to serve all people in need without discrimination. Located in downtown Paterson, NJ CUMAC serves over 40,000 New Jersey residents in need. St. Bartholomew’s collects food monthly and distributes it to the food pantry. On Harvest Sunday and Easter two larger food drives are donated to CUMAC.

Goshen Migrant Workers (Agri-Business Child Development). In 1972 the Sister’s of St. Dominic opened The House on the Hill, a Migrant Head Start facility accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The facility educates approximately 75 children, newborn to 5 years old. We donate toiletries, dental supplies, clothing, diapers, school supplies and other essentials.
