Our Stewardship Study Continues…..
The love of Jesus for his disciples is the source of the disciples’ love for one another. Often, we interpret this phrase to mean that Jesus’ love is the example or model for our love. That’s true, but Jesus’ love is also the font of our love. Loving one another is not meant to be a task, but a way of life.
How has Jesus loved you? As the text says, he laid down his life for you. But what has that meant to you? What grace has Christ offered you? What mercy have you received? What help has God provided? What if we read this line in the present tense, “Love one another as I am loving you.” How are we stewards of God’s love for ourselves, our friends, families, our neighbors, our church family?
Join us in worship beginning at 10am in-person or on-line at Facebook Live or YouTube. The bulletin for our worship is found on the virtual bulletin tab. May God Bless You!!
