Sunday Preview-Who Needs To Be First?

A vineyard is a place of slow growth, patient tending, and quiet mystery which makes Matthew 20:1–16 such a startling parable. The landowner’s generosity disrupts our sense of fairness: those who worked only an hour receive the same wage as those who bore the burden of the day. But Jesus isn’t teaching economics; he’s revealing the heart of God.

In the kingdom, grace is not a reward for effort but a gift flowing from the Giver’s freedom and love. This story invites us to release our tight grip on comparison, the exhausting habit of measuring our worth against someone else’s timeline, labor, or blessing. Instead, we’re drawn to trust the One who comes looking for us again and again, at dawn, at noon, at the final hour, saying, “There is still room in my vineyard.”

Join with us on Sunday, September 20 as we journey with the Lord.   The bulletin can be found in the Sunday Bulletin tab.  We invite you to Come and See!
