Palm Sunday gathers us at the crossroads of joy and sorrow, where the shouts of “Hosanna!” meet the shadow of the cross. Jesus enters Jerusalem not with force, but with a humility that exposes every false version of power we cling to. The crowds wave branches and lay their cloaks on the road, longing for a Messiah who will save them on their terms, yet Christ comes to save in a deeper, more meaningful way. Palm Sunday invites us to join that procession with open eyes and open hearts. It is the doorway into Holy Week, where we learn again that God’s victory is revealed not in triumphalism, but in self-giving love that refuses to let the world stay as it is.
