Sunday Preview-Discipleship A Foundation for Stewardship-Part 4

posted in: Save the Date | 0

2 Thessalonians 2:13–17 offers a powerful framework for understanding what it means to be a disciple and a good steward in the Christian faith. The passage emphasizes that believers are “chosen by God from the beginning for salvation to walk in the power of the Spirit and live by faith in the truth,” highlighting that discipleship begins with divine calling and is sustained through a life of holiness and trust in God’s Word. It also highlights the importance of holding firmly to the teachings passed down by the apostles to stand firm and be encouraged in every good deed.  The word speaks to the active role disciples must take in living out their faith—managing their time, talents, and resources in service to God’s kingdom.
