We long for a God who is just, fair, and predictable, a divine presence who plays by the rules and upholds the law. But Jesus reveals something far more radical: a God who searches for the wanderer, rejoices over the lost, forgives the arrogant, and mends what’s been broken. This God is not safe. But this God is always good. Do we trust God?
Throughout scripture and especially in the Gospel of the shrewd steward we encounter a God who upends our expectations. Jesus praises a manager whose actions seem wildly irresponsible and then He tells us to go and do likewise. Can God trust us to do what he asks?
Imagine if the Church took that seriously. Imagine if we stopped trying to be safe and started striving to be good, good in the way God is good.
What if our community of faith offered forgiveness, love, and welcome without conditions?
What if we carried the joy of worship and fellowship beyond our walls?
How would our church be transformed? How would our worship deepen? How would our relationships reflect the heart of Christ?
Join with us on Sunday, September 21 as we walk with Jesus and reflect on his teachings. We invite you to Come and See! Worship begins at 10 am. You can participate in worship via Facebook and YouTube as well as Zoom Meeting ID 890 2569 5988 Passcode: 420528
