Who Are Our Neighbors?

The Good Samaritan story is as timeless as it is radical, especially in how it calls us to live out compassion beyond comfort zones. In modern life, we often find ourselves divided by social, political, racial, or religious lines. This story turns things inside out. The Samaritan’s kindness defied hostility between Jews and Samaritans.

Today, it challenges us to help even those we might disagree with or feel distant from.  Many people pass by suffering daily, on the streets, online, even within our communities. The priest and Levite might’ve had good reasons to avoid getting involved, but Jesus lifted up the one who made a choice and acted, not the ones who found excuses. It’s a call to notice the hurting and respond with mercy any and every time.

Join with us on Sunday, July 13 as we walk with Jesus and reflect on his teachings.  We invite you to Come and See! Worship begins at 10 am. You can participate in worship via Facebook and YouTube as well as Zoom Meeting ID 849 1295 5442
