The Feast of All Saints is a profound moment for reflection when we recall the enduring beauty of the faithful, both living and departed, and when we profess that, somehow, we are mysteriously bound together with them across time and space and context, by virtue of our common spiritual heritage.
Celebrating the faithful who have journeyed before us highlights the beauty of their sacrifices and the betterment they’ve brought to the world through their commitment to the story of Jesus. This day calls us to reflect on our connection to these saints, reminding us that we are part of a larger, timeless spiritual family. Their lives show us that choosing the path of Jesus, despite its challenges, ultimately leads to a more profound and lasting impact on the world.
