“St. Francis dedicated his ministry to serving the poor and downtrodden. He and his followers tirelessly helped those who were sick and dying, spreading the gospel to places where it was rarely heard. His life exemplified the gospel message, and he famously said, ‘Preach the gospel; if necessary, use words.’

Francis sought to embody Christ’s love in practical ways. For him, following Jesus wasn’t just an abstract concept—it was about living it out. When he gathered a group of men, he modeled their organization after Jesus sending his disciples out into the world two by two.

In our present day, there’s a poignant message carried by the presence of animals in our worship. They remind us that our relationship with God extends beyond humans; it encompasses all of creation. As we face climate change and environmental challenges, recognizing our responsibility to care for the earth becomes an essential part of following Jesus.”

Join us on Sunday as we travel with St. Francis and the special gift of all creation.

We begin worship at 10 am.  All are welcome either in-person or on-line.   The bulletin can be found on this website in the virtual bulletin tab. We look forward to seeing you!
