John the Baptist’s call to repentance is passionate and powerful. Jesus, the Son of God, came to bring God’s promise of forgiveness and deliverance from evil and death, a reign of peace with God and one another. With this peace and freedom comes the courage to seek truth and goodness for us, our neighbors and our world, if we choose to do so.
Even when faced with the challenging choices of an imperfect world, we have the absolute assurance that we always have the certainty of God’s love. This is the gift of this Gospel reading! It calls on us to think about our choices. If we frame every decision we make as a chance to let grace into our lives, we then live in the power of the Holy Spirit, the wisdom of Jesus and the love of God.
Join us on Sunday as we move with the Gospel message of learning about how our choices can be made with the wisdom of God at our side.
We begin worship at 10 am. All are welcome either in-person or on-line. The bulletin can be found on this website in the virtual bulletin tab. We look forward to seeing you!
