Something that we can reflect on this Christ the King Sunday, from Luke’s Gospel, is to realize that Jesus is not coming to be just one more king, but rather that he is ushering in an entirely new order, a world and order characterized by new life, hope, grace and above all love, the kind of love that never wearies in extending and in our receiving second chances. THAT IS SOMETHING TO BE VERY THANKFUL FOR! Christ is the King-Thanks be to God!
