What Do You Say?

It’s a vulnerable moment between Jesus and his closest friends, when he turns to them and asks, What are people saying about me? Who do you say I am?

Of course, Jesus’ question is not about his identity, who he really is, but how people see him and relate to him.  Our answer, of necessity, says more about our self than it can say about Jesus.  Our decision to take the road less traveled and find out about ourselves takes courage.

During Jesus’ life he has fed people miraculous bread from heaven. But do the disciples really understand what it’s all about? Jesus has restored sight to the blind and hearing to the deaf. But do the disciples really see and hear him?   Jesus is preaching “The Kingdom of Heaven is near; repent and believe the good news!”  But do the disciples really know what way they are walking?

Join us on Sunday as we travel through the Gospel message from Mark focusing on where Jesus wants to know what his disciples think about him.

We begin worship at 10 am.  All are welcome either in-person or on-line.   The bulletin can be found on this website in the virtual bulletin tab. We look forward to seeing you!
