Jesus’ Prayer

posted in: Save the Date | 0

In our passage this week from John’s Gospel we read the “farewell discourses,” Jesus prays for his disciples.  Jesus stops everything and prays for those he loves.

Prayer isn’t simply a routine, it’s not just a spiritual exercise, it’s not even merely a healthy part of our faith lives. It may be all those things, but it’s also something more. Prayer is love.

Taking the time to name the hopes, joys, concerns, fears, and thanksgiving of someone you know and bring all of that into the presence of God through prayer is an act of love.

Join us on Sunday as we reflect on the power of love.   We begin worship at 10 am.  All are welcome either in-person or on-line and the bulletin can be found on this website in the virtual bulletin tab. We look forward to seeing you!
