In our reading from the Gospel of Luke he tells a story about a fruitless fig tree, a frustrated man, and a compassionate gardener. We have only one life to live, one opportunity for each day and we never know what tomorrow will bring. During this lenten season, let us learn from the fruitless fig tree so we can bear good and healthy fruit appreciating the gifts that God gives to us each day.
