In John 10:1\u201310, Jesus invites us into an intimate story, a story about voices, gates, and the kind of life we\u2019re meant to live. He speaks of a shepherd who knows each sheep by name, whose voice cuts through the noise of thieves and strangers, and whose purpose is not control but abundance. In a world crowded with demands that drain us, fears that fence us in, and false shepherds who promise much but deliver little, Jesus stands before us and says, \u201cI am the gate.\u201d Not a barrier, but a passage. Through him we find safety, belonging, and the wide\u2011open pasture of God\u2019s hope.<\/p>\n
