Matthew 4:18-23<\/p>\n

As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee,\u00a0he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter\u00a0and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen.<\/span>\u00a019\u00a0<\/sup>\u201cCome, follow me,\u201d<\/span>\u00a0Jesus said,\u00a0\u201cand I will send you out to fish for people.\u201d<\/span><\/span>\u00a020\u00a0<\/sup>At once they left their nets and followed him.<\/span><\/p>\n

21\u00a0<\/sup>Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John.\u00a0They were in a boat with their father Zebedee, preparing their nets. Jesus called them,<\/span>\u00a022\u00a0<\/sup>and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him.\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>23\u00a0<\/sup>Jesus went throughout Galilee,\u00a0teaching in their synagogues,\u00a0proclaiming the good news\u00a0of the kingdom,\u00a0and healing every disease and sickness among the people.<\/span><\/p>\n

Question for family conversation-\u00a0 \u00a0 What do you think Jesus means when he said that he would send the disciples out to fish for people?<\/strong><\/p>\n
