{"id":3289,"date":"2022-12-04T22:53:42","date_gmt":"2022-12-04T22:53:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.stbartshhk.com\/?p=3289"},"modified":"2022-12-04T22:56:01","modified_gmt":"2022-12-04T22:56:01","slug":"advent-family-bible-study-week-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stbartshhk.com\/?p=3289","title":{"rendered":"Advent Family Bible Study Week 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>Welcome To St. Bartholomew\u2019s Advent Family Bible Study<\/strong><\/em><\/h1>\n<h4>Matthew 3:13-17<\/h4>\n<p><span class=\"text Matt-3-13\">Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John.<\/span>\u00a0<span id=\"en-NIV-23207\" class=\"text Matt-3-14\"><sup class=\"versenum\">14\u00a0<\/sup>But John tried to deter him, saying, \u201cI need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?\u201d\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span id=\"en-NIV-23208\" class=\"text Matt-3-15\"><sup class=\"versenum\">15\u00a0<\/sup>Jesus replied,\u00a0<span class=\"woj\">\u201cLet it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0Then John consented.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"en-NIV-23209\" class=\"text Matt-3-16\"><sup class=\"versenum\">16\u00a0<\/sup>As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water.
