{"id":2409,"date":"2021-04-22T18:45:15","date_gmt":"2021-04-22T18:45:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.stbartshhk.com\/?p=2409"},"modified":"2021-04-22T19:19:45","modified_gmt":"2021-04-22T19:19:45","slug":"lets-get-growing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stbartshhk.com\/?p=2409","title":{"rendered":"Let&#8217;s Get Growing!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;The people-civic ecology stewards-envision places where humans are neither divorced from nature nor separated from each other.\u00a0 They understand how our future depends on understanding that human-like other living beings-are all part of a larger nature&#8230;Civic ecology also entails applying an ecological perspective to understand how people, practices, communities, and the environment interact.&#8221;\u00a0 <strong>Civic Ecology-Adaptation and Transformation from the Ground Up\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>St. Bartholomew&#8217;s will begin the preparations for our Community Garden in May.\u00a0 We will be dedicating our efforts and bounty from our 2021 garden to help combat food scarcity.\u00a0 We will be donating our produce to Oasis-A Shelter for Women and Children in Paterson, NJ as well as other organizations that serve those in need.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>&#8220;But Jesus told them, &#8220;They don&#8217;t need to go away.
